Gestational diabetes does not produce symptoms so every pregnant woman should realizarce exams blood sugar (glucose) during pregnancy:

  • Family history of DM2.
  • pregnancy after age 30.
  • Obesity.
  • Pregnancy having a child with more than 4 kilos.
  • DMG in another pregnancy.
  • African American, Native American and Hispanic are more likely.
  • Smoking hece that the risk of gestational diabetes is doubled.
